What, so the trigger position would change between the first round and subsequent ones?
DA/SA sucks.

(Overwhelmingly superior firepower and the willingness to use it is the only proven peace solution.)

"What, so the trigger position would change between the first round and subsequent ones? DA/SA sucks." Until you get a faulty, contaminated or waterlogged primer. 99 times out of 100 a second hammer strike is all that's needed to touch it off, and that's a lot quicker with a DA than an SA trigger.
Personally, I'm quite fond of my CZ75B, which has a double action trigger, but was designed to be carried cocked and locked, just like a 1911.

DA/SA sucks. It's a crying' shame so many of the coolest frames are usually outfitted with this "feature" by default.
Then again, I'd probably be a lot poorer if they didn't.
