You guys, there are high emotions on both sides of this issue. Kevmo, please do not try and tell me after the months of flame baiting, arguements, banning, and insults flying around that exactly the same type of thing was not leveled from the other side.

That’s a two edged sword. Far better to chalk it up to the charged emotion it is and realize (as I stated in my last post to you) that there are far more areas where we agree than where we have differences and work together in those areas to advance conservatism and our Constitutional Rpeublic.

In your last post to me, you insinuated that Jim’s decision was not based on the prayer and thought he gave to the matter (and as he stated), but to being sleep deprived. You do not believe that was insulting?

Like I said, it is a two edged sword that we should not be wielding against one another, not a single one of us, who believes in the fundamental and foundational values that are the foundation for this country and our constitution.

Instead, we should be weilding that sword at our true adversaries who wish to DESTROY EVRYTHING WE ALL CHERISH.

I would wager that we agree, on these boards, the people who are here for constitutional conservatism, on 90+% of our positions and issues. So why insult one another?

And if someone gets emotional and does so...suck it up and save the real fight for the people with whom we have realtive no common ground with, and if we do, it is probably less than 10-15%. Who want to fundamentally change our republic and view us all as their enemey.

If we fight amongst ourselves at the very moment of their advance...we shall surely lose. As would any Army, military force, or group of people who come apart at the seams and fall on one another when their enemeis take the field and come at them. Such a condition has got to be something they relish and that is beyond their wildest hopes to ensure victory for them, who want, in essence, to destroy all that we cherish.

I endorse and agree with everything you've said Jeff, my view is likewise, that our common enemy is 0bama and his traitorous and despicable minions whose goal is the destruction of our Republic.

We don't have to love Mitt Romney, we don't even have to like him, one of my analogies which I think applies pretty well here, is that Sonny Liston was not a very likeable person, he had been in prison, in trouble, fit the definition of 'antisocial', but all that mattered was that he ended up knocking out Floyd Patterson and winning the bout, thereby becoming the champion. All Sonny Romney has to do is to knock the Kenyan Usurper out of the ring on his ass, and I'll be more than happy about that.

My position regarding JimRob and FR is very simple: it's JimRob's house, and JimRob's decision to make, and FR is HIS baby, and if someone is so incensed and enraged about something Jim does or does not do, to the point they start dredging up past posts and threads of Jim's and slinging them around as debate-fodder, then they need to seriously re-think whether they should remain in his house. Jim is a gracious and caring guy, he could have permanently zotted me many times, and for a lot less than some of the crap I've seen thrown at him since yesterday, but he didn't. I will not have one unkind word to say about the man, and I agree with and endorse his position regarding Romney & Ryan. He is acting in the best traditions of a patriot, he is choosing his battles with the objective of first, defeating the most urgent threat before us, which is 0bama. After that lying jug-eared freak is sent packing, we'll deal with anything unconservative that may come up with the Romney Administration.

I have tried to remain civil when possible, however I do not suffer fools gladly, nor do I countenance disrespectful behavior towards our Founder, and towards this website which is our 'home online away from home'.

It really comes down to what former President George W. Bush said (who did disappoint me, truth be told) "you are either with us, or you are with the 0bamunists".
