Back in the 1960s and 1970s they used to be referred to as The Presidential Republicans. That was in a time when we had a hard time pulling 25 or 30 percent of the vote.
Times have changed ~ we no longer have a need for a separate Presidential wing.
At the same time that campaign is on hold until January. The results of the coming election may well give a lot of you guys pause about the idea of cooperating with them ~ or maybe not. We shall see AFTER the election and wait to see WHO these guys bring into government.
The Todd Akin situation is instructive ~ we cannot let a single candidate bring down the ticket. And that includes every single one of them.
