It’s what his candidacy is revealing about “conservatives” that is so deeply troubling.
***Maybe God is sifting conservatism. Like Gideon’s army before the fight, God has no use for a bunch of cowards or faux conservatives. It’s impossible to defeat an army of 300,000 with only 300 men, right? It’s impossible that you will win the presidency, right? Do what God commands, He’ll take care of the result, and He will get the glory. God does not want us to yield our principles.
