You know, there’s something almost fine about it. The way you speak with such fullsome pride about state fakery, combined with threats, to uphold arbitrary state rules. Did the meaningless ceremony come complete with an accurately read canned speech the principal approved of? There’s nothing like the accurate faking of the true milestones of life.
