He has NO funding other than the left-wing groups who are thrilled to see him stay in, the NRSC has pulled all funding, as have American Crossroad’s and other PAC’s, he’s not going anywhere. This is absolute foolishness on his part, he’ll cost the GOP the Senate and hurt them in several other races because of his idiocy...just to prove a point.
Now McCaskill is going to skate to re-election. The Rats won't even have to fight for it so they can spend that money elsewhere. Thanks a lot Akin!

My opinion of what he was trying to say as follows:
“Legitimate rape” = “Someone forcibly having intercourse with an unwilling participant”.
“Illegitimate rape” - Some bimbo laying down, spreading her legs and having consensual relations with someone, gets pregnant and then CLAIMS rape in order to have an abortion.
If that’s what he meant and that is what he was trying to convey then he should explain it.
