Biden Jokes He’ll Be ‘The Speaker’ at GOP Convention
MINNEAPOLIS – Vice President Joe Biden joked about his role at the Republican National Convention next week, telling a group of press he would be a featured speaker in Tampa.
“Any of you going to be in Florida?” Biden asked reporters during a campaign stop. “Well, I’m the speaker at the convention. I’m gonna be down there.”
Earlier in the day, the Obama campaign announced Biden would spend time in Florida on Monday and Tuesday, including stops in Tampa, where the GOP will hold its convention next week.
Biden popped into football practice at Minneapolis South High School, the home of the Tigers, Tuesday afternoon. When a player asked him if he and Obama were going to “put Mitt Romney down,” Biden was careful to answer, saying he’d rephrase the question so the press wouldn’t misconstrue his answer.

.....Well ..... to me it seems obvious that the one and only reason Bumbling Joe is being sent to the convention is to provide a diversion and distraction for the media to fawn over the wonderful gentleman from Delaware instead of reporting on the actual issues that will be covered by the speakers and delegates...... IMO another slick move on behalf of the Obama/Biden Machine.
The Obama camp gets rid of Fredo for awhile, and the media runs circles around itself with whild speculation. Meanwhile, Holder is still in contempt, Corzine is still a crook, the economy is still stagnated to depression levels, Iran is still building the bomb, and we still don’t really know who Obama is.

As Greg Gutfeld said on “The Five”, the White House told Biden that it’s the Democrat Convention in Tampa that week and he has to be there for that.
Used to be, when the other Party had their Convention, you backed off and kept low until it was completed. Obama isn't going to do that. Neither should we.
We need to take AMERICA back and it begins in Tampa. You know the Obummer is trying to stoke up a riot in Tampa. It is the DNC convention where they should be afraid. I would give money to the occupy folks to show up in Charlotte. You know the Rat’s have done that for Tampa.
We are probably going to see some cities burn between now and the election. You know that Obama is going to rise the crisis level to a new all time high.
I’ll admit I’m an old fart but back in the day the opposing party would lay low during the other folks convention and vice versa.
I guess those days are over.

Are we sure he was joking? Maybe he’s got the parties confused.
They send Biden because if he makes a dumb statement, and we all know he will, they’re covered because everyone knows he’s the village idiot. But, if by chance he says something smart, they hurt the republicans. I’d bet on the first but apparently obama thinks the odds are worth the risk.
We should be so lucky.
I think he is there to start trouble. Or at least be there if something happens.
Then say that Republicans are worse than occupiers.
He has to do something to redeem himself. Kind of like the loser sissy boy who dreams of making the Hail Mary pass in the last two seconds of the game to win the championship so everyone will like him and he will be the popular boy.

I still want to know why Biden is allowed to make a campaign appearance on our dime. We’re paying for the Secret Service, travel expenses, etc. for his campaign.
I thought that was illegal.
