New York Post coverage. Pictures. Graphic warning.
In your link we see a photo of a white woman on the ground trying to help a black woman who’s been injured- it strikes me this is more of an ordinary picture of America (I don’t mean the violence) - someone hurt and someone else trying to help- REGARDLESS of either one’s skin color. I know it’s a small thing- but it goes against the grain of popular racist thinking in a stark way.
Excerpt: "Eeerily, just minutes before the mayhem, Mayor Bloomberg was warning about the dangers of too many guns on the streets on his weekly radio show.... The argument guns dont kill people, people kill people is one of the most disingenuous things you can say, he said shortrly before 9 a.m. while discussing tougher guns laws being proposed in Albany.
SLAP!
