The Obama campaign needs to be more creative.
Just as Grigori Potëmkin had his beautiful and impressive fake villages, so the Obama campaign could have fake crowds. They could make imaginative use of cardboard cutouts of people (thousands of them - moved from campaign stop to campaign stop) and possibly green screens and some movie magic from his Hollywood friends.
Where are the green jacket guy and wailing woman (from Lebanon) when you need them as extras?
