This doctrinaire approach more resembles the Democrats... we’re the party that’s open-minded and even capable of forgiving others.

Oh, not so my friend. Did the Democrats throw the Rapist In Chief, Bill Clinton, under the bus? NO! The Senator who drowned a young lady and left her in Lake Chappaquidick, Ted Kennedy? NO! The lying, Kenyan Communist Barack Obama? NO! The inept, doofus-brain Joe Biden? NO! The Tax Cheat, Sec. of Treasury Tim Geithner? NO! The only U.S. Attorney General to ever be held in Contempt of Congress, Eric Holder? NO! The Racketeer, Charlie Rangel? NO!

The GOP has a history of shooting their own wounded; the Dems give theirs a pass.

Saw a Fox poll yesterday. Bill Clinton has a 65% favorability rating. No wonder he is going to be one of the main speakers at the Dem Convention. I guess you can commit rape, drop your pants and expose yourself to a state employee in a hotel room, engage in sodomy with an intern in the WH, sexually molest others, commit adultry, lie under oath, have your law license suspended, and pay a major fine for contempt of court and really suffer no consequences when it comes to the court of public opinion.

Yet Todd Akin has been made into something north of Jack the Ripper for a verbal gaffe, including using the word "legitimate," instead of what he meant, i.e., "forcible." His apology is unacceptable even to the GOP. The hammers of Hell are upon him despite living an exemplary life, public and private, including being a devout family man with six children and three sons who served in the USMC. So this former Army officer and divinity student must be banished from the public square to suffer eternal damnation and humiliation. Something wrong with this picture?
