NO.

This issue is much greater than Todd Akin and he is too obtuse to see it.

He won in a tight 3 way race with cross-over votes from the DEMOCRATS.

I live in MO and I will not accept Akin when I know it will cost us the senate seat. He should withdraw so that a more reliable candidate can run on the Republican ticket.

If he does not withdraw, I will support a write-in candidate.

And if enough of you do that, it will cost us the senate seat, as you stated.

Can you name that "more reliable" candidate???

If he does not withdraw, I will support a write-in candidate.

Ohh my apologies, you just did: Claire McCaskill.

You sure are reliable.

You’ll write in a more reliable candidate? Reliable for what? Pro-life views? Conservative?

Why is he going to lose? Are Republicans going to vote for the Democrat? Then Republicans deserve a Democrat. Just like in Nevada. RINOS backed Reid. Screwed the whole country, every darned day since, because Angel was too radical for them.

Be careful, if you vote your conscience many here will hold you personally responsible if the GOP loses the seat in MO, even if it’s by 50k votes. :)

Voting for the lesser of two evils, is still evil.

Romney made a joke about The One’s birth certificate.

The left is outraged.

Romney needs to step down. ( sarc )

On second thought that would make Ryan the presidential candidate. I take back the sarc warning.

Same road that many have taken with Romney...if you don't vote for Romney, you will " vote" for Obama....you vote a third party write in, you vote for McCaskill! Congrats McCaskill and Obamacare!

You contradict yourself. Either you want to pick up a Senate seat or you don’t.

Write-in candidates will never make it but in this case will make sure that the Senate gets another RAT. Akin is a good conservative and doesn't deserve such crap. Lets do what we can to support his reelection.

Sour grapes will taste really good when McCaskill is enforcing infanticide rights for Obama, right?

Then you support McCaskill. You’re not very bright, are you?

What's more important, his staunchly conservative votes on social and fiscal issues that make him more conservative than either Romney or Ryan, or one sentence he misspoke on a talk show? If he stays in the race, what do you gain by having him lose? I'll take a Senator who says stupid stuff any day over one who's more liberal.

Splitting the vote between Akin and a write-in will "cost us the senate seat". And it will be your fault!
