So far it would appear that even our liberal friends will vote against the tax increases. I think the scandal of the state parks and the high speed rail decisions have shown that the state doesn’t need and won’t care for additional money.

I agree with you. And also think part of the liberal mindset is also basically broke too. So many people basically don't have the money to spend, and fear committing themselves to future obligations to spend / tax themselves even more. Even liberals are broke. The stupid train wasn't supported by the state's citizens, it was pushed by the legislature, but mostly by Brown. And That will keep many people from rallying to anything else he is asking for now. He basically shoved the train to nowhere - down all of California's citizens throats.

Not to mention that all rural homeowners just got hit with a “fee” for fire services that we already pay for.
Not only that but if you look at the billing they made it retro. You will be getting two bills. 11/12 & 12/13.
If you don’t pay the fee they will lien your home.
