Yeah, it looks like sabotage to me (campaign worker deliberately misspelling the word) rather than autocorrect.
I think it was the LA Times that got some software that automatically changed “Black” to “African American,” even when it wasn’t right. (For example, “former Supreme Court Justice Hugo African American.”)
He’d have to garble the spelling atrociously at the beginning of the word for an autocorrect to choose that as the most likely word, but I suppose it’s possible.

My guess even though its a distasteful remark, it’s true. Crime is probably up in most, if not all neighborhoods inhabited by blacks. Sad, but true.
