What irritates me is for the second day in a row, 50% of these “likely voters” think Obama is doing just fine.

If Obama wins, I will completely lose hope in the future of this country.

Aiken fallout? I don't know what other news there may have been to move the needle.

This is concerning. I anticipate a "dead cat bounce" out of the convention.

I know! I mean who are these people? I don’t understand how some can be so stupid. Wake up America!

The state of our country’s opinion is about ignorance and media corruption. A big chunk are functionally retarded, yes, but if the media were to actually do their job, this election would set a new bar for the landslide.

Obama is at about 43% in Florida. That CNN poll is deeply flawed. Romney has developed a clear edge her in recent weeks.

That this high percentage of Americans still support O is a far worse indicator of the state of our nation than anything else. If this economy and all he has done so far are not waking the sheeple up, we are beyond hope. As others have said, the problem isn’t Obama. It’s the fact that so many voted for him.

My feelings exactly. This is not your father's America. If it was, we'd be looking at a Nixon-McGovern type blowout.

A few days ago, Gallup had Romney winning big over Obama in the electoral votes. The next day, we read on Drudge that Obama’s justice dept was suing Gallup for not taking the full estimated time to do their polls. The only conclusion that can be drawn is that the Obama administration wants the polling companies to keep polling until they get the desired results, any negative results for Obama will result in prosecution.

Ras is the most reliable guy around. He polls likely voters and weights Rs and Ds reasonably. Hopefully this is an anomaly.

I don’t swallow these polls. As for the 5 percent undecided: Anyone who is undecided at this point should not be allowed to vote because they are too stupid.

Perhaps Barakopolis II should be ridiculed while people are recovering from the hurricane?

Perhaps the democrats should just cancel their convention in light of the anticipated recovery of people suffering from the storm.

Give credit where credit is due, to Mr. "I'm proud of RomneyCare" Romney.

Aiken[sic] fallout? I don't know what other news there may have been to move the needle.

Mitt Romney Says He's 'Proud' Of Romneycare, Two Weeks After His Campaign Got Shredded For Doing It

I think telling the nation during a Chris Wallace interview on Sunday that he's "very proud" of RomneyCare was a pretty outrageous needle mover. He essentially slashed and burned the hope we grass roots had that he would repeal ObamaCare without replacing it with his own brand of socialism. I expected the needle to dip further than it did. He should consider himself lucky.

"This is not your father's America."

There is the rub. The Greatest Generation that made up the bulk of electorate in 1972 is dead or dying. The Boomer's have lost the battle of ideals.
