Twenty-nine former chairs of the Penn State faculty Senate have blasted Louis Freeh and the NCAA in connection with their actions in response to the Jerry Sandusky child sex scandal.

From the article - "On a foundation of scant evidence, the report adds layers of conjecture and supposition to create a portrait of fault, complicity, and malfeasance that could well be at odds with the truth."

I think this issue can only be understood in the current context of American universities aggressively sanctifying homosexuality.

Penn State's uncritical, reflexive acceptance of the Freeh Report and their acceptance of the shocking NCAA fines and sanctions are Penn State's way of saying, "See, we really do draw the line some place, we really do have moral limits."

Imagine for a moment if this scandal involved a female cheerleading coach abusing a 14 year old boy in the Women's Locker Room.

The penalties would have been much less severe and the lawsuits would have been for much less money.

Here’s what NCAA President Mark Emmert when he was LSU chancellor: “Simply put, success in LSU football is essential for the success of Louisiana State University.”

Penn State Football Program, the cleanest (no NCAA violations, ever).. The highest graduation rates (Joe Paterno actually forced his players to goto class unlike SEC coaches), aand they come down with the hammer with no evidence of any wrong doing.

NCAA should be disbanded.

What a steaming pantload!

I read the Freeh report. Out of their own mouths, their own emails, their own memos, they hung themselves.

Pedo State is in full swing for the homosexual agenda, which has always been about one thing: Unrestricted Access To Young Flesh.

The jury always screams GUILTY after the prosecution presents its case.

Then, slowly but surely, the defense begins to present its case.

I, too, read the Freeh Report.

My prediction...

The two administrators who were indicted will be exonerated on all charges.

Penn State “fans” care more about football than child rape. Too bad the NCAA didn’t kick the amoral pricks entirely out of college sports. And while we’re at it, how is that climate change coverup going? Is Penn State ever going to release the raw data that everyone outside not so Happy Valley knows would establish the school as lying dirtbags? And for all of you who have not been paying close attention, the same man who allowed the child rape continue for many years, is responsible for the climate change raw data scam. Go HAWKEYES!

Re: HAWKEYES

You an Iowa boy, tbd?

I lived in Iowa City for most of the 90’s.

Still miss it, but had to make more money.

Since your read the Freeh Report, What e-mail shows Joe Paterno covered up Sandusky’s crimes to protect the University’s image? Please tell me the page.

Every fan of every other fan base would be behaving the exact same as Penn State fans if they were in their shoes. If this happened at Iowa, Iowa fans wouldn’t be saying “shut down the football program!”.

This could have happened ANYWHERE! And every other fanbase in the country would be acting in the same way.

I notice the guilty at PSU are circling the wagons to defend their precious homsexual-pedophile agenda. Too late, scumbags. The word is out on your scam.

I would say universities are in full swing for the homosexual agenda.

Yes, I read the Freeh report and saw evidence of a cover up. But, I also read the Paterno family response. The Freeh report is like a grand jury report; there has yet to come a response that may upend the accusations in the Freeh report, or at least put them into perspective. Joe Paterno was a football coach; he was not an expert in child abuse. I was disappointed that no emails showing any concern for the victims were published in the Freeh report. Were there any? Or, did the Freeh report conveniently leave them out? I do not know.

The NCAA should be disbanded for their heavy handed attack on Penn State, and, in general, their sanctimonious do-gooder approach to what they think they are doing.

My prediction: Schultz & Curley will be convicted of actions related to the coverup. That’s where it stops. You can already see the wagons being circled around Graham Spanier — the true author of the homo agenda at PSU. The “Agenda” must be defended at all costs don’t ya know?

PSU agreed to this report, and accepted it’s conclusions, so how can anyone argue about it?

The issue that you are avoiding is that Paterno knew, early on, that Sandusky was an aggressive pedophile, knew that he had been witnessed assaulting a boy, knew that he ran a "charitable foundation to help boys", yet did absolutely nothing. He was the guy in charge, he was the responsible leader, he was the guy who should have fired Sandusky and turned his evidence over to the law.

He didn't. He chose to protect his money fountain and he left scores of young men vulnerable to attack. Any questions?

Page 48, Exhibit 2J, 5/5/98 email from Curley to Schulz and Spanier saying Paterno was notified of what was going on.

Page 49, Exhibit 2B, 5/13/98 email from email from Curley to Schulz saying Paterno was anxious to know where the investigation stood.

Page 51, note M, no email evidence to indicate PSU officials attempted to comply with the Clery Act.

Page 53, Paterno’s under-oath words with the Grand Jury saying I Do Not Recall.

Page 76, Exhibit 5G, indicating at no time did Paterno and the others try to protect the child victim from harm, in fact exposed the child to more harm because only Sandusky knew the child’s identity.

Pages 130-131, Recommendations, that a lack of emphasis on values and ethics-based actions created the environment in which Paterno and others made decisions to avoid the consequences of bad publicity.

I predict that eventually the Freeh report will be as incompetent as everything else Louie has done.

I saw those references and agree that they serve as strong and condemning evidence of wrongdoing.

But, given the huge number of emails bandied about, was there a single sentence or concern about the victims in any of the emails left out of the Freeh report? Were other relevant emails left out of the report?

Given only and nothing but the Freeh report I have to conclude that Joe Paterno was probably guilty as charged. He is no longer able to defend his action or lack of action.

I, and others, continue to follow developments in this sordid case. Some of the punishments by the NCAA are excessive and clearly hurt the innocent, like the football players who actually played and won the games, or newcomers who are being denied a scholarship.

Does the NCAA understand justice? I do not think so. Get rid of them. I do not think that the NCAA can connect the dots, they just lash out and toss a grenade (figurative of course) into the Penn State program to make themselves feel good.

The biggest wagon circled around Graham Spanier is Obama, who has hired him, although no one seems willing to say why or for what.
