I think it’s time to leave. But I’m not in favor of just leaving. We leave, but leave them NOTHING. All of the public facilities and infrastructure, whatever we cannot take with us we render unusable. Electric generating plants, substations, oil & gas storage and pipelines, water & wastewater treatment, public buidings, bridges, dams, everything. Blow it all up. They want to be barbarians, let them live like barbarians.

My son spent 5 months there as a Marine, until he hit an IED. Once spent 3 days in a Forward Operating Base with no ammo. I asked him why we are there....to kill the poppies.
