I dunno, but I FINALLY got called by a pollster this past week. And it was a pleasure to emphatically state my support for Romney/Ryan.
I’m going to give Romney credit here ...he didn’t give up. He’s been at this for 2 elections. He really wants it — and i believe he’s going to work his hide off. So will Ryan.
They might not do everything right, but it just CANNOT, WILL NOT be the disaster that we’ve seen these last 4 years.
No. I think that's what Sarah Palin did. IMO McCain never really wanted to be POTUS, he just wanted to be the Nominee. It was his 'revenge' for the trouncing he got 2000.

True, but the lower Oba Axelrod goes with his lying gutter ads, the lower Barry's poll numbers go. He's already written off White Middle Class voters and the 'Youth Vote' basically loath him now. Barry and Axelrod think the Leeches, Moonbats, Sluts and 'women', Gays, and 'Minorities' can win it for him (along with MSM help). Problem is those percentages don't add up to a majority -- even if their turnout was huge.
Not to mention his pet monkeys in the MSM are going insane right on TV. They're so desperate they're acting like Mentally Ill children, or doing a Comedy Routine at Club Ha-Ha on amateur night.
And now Romney's free to spend the gazillions he's been sitting on (by law), while Barry's flooded the air waves with BS and now has to beg for $3.00 from his wacky base. Plus, Brainiac Biden and him are speaking to empty auditoriums and giving tickets away for free just to fill some seats.
Granted it won't be a cakewalk for Romney but Barry is through and he knows it.
(My fear is what he'll do after he loses and is a lame duck from Nov 7, 2012 to January 20, 2013. We know he doesn't give a sheet about any law or the constitution. The pot-head commie may go postal on America)

McCain never wanted to win in 2008. He was wayyyy too enthralled with 0bama. Key to his defeat was that inexplicable suspension of his campaign to attend that bailout conference, the muzzling of Sarah Palin and his head scratching-inducing comment that America had nothing to fear of an Obama presidency.
The biggest difference (and it is big indeed),
is that Romney is actually running AGAINST Obama,
whereas McCain was preparing his own followers for his
defeat, as he continued on, looking from time to time like he was actually campaigning FOR Obama/
The ONLY thing that kept McCain afloat as a potential winner, was, of course, Sarah Palin, who was cynically used and abused.
I’m not sure McCain ever had a chance, though...remember , Obama had no “record” at that time, and McCain’s rickety “gravitas” was no match for Obama’s “charisma”.
Defeating Obama is much easier this time, and the Team to do that is much more serious, even granting that there will be
missteps, and opportunities lost, it seems impossible that Romney could lose this election.
