Sorry - didn’t get a chance to read the other posts re EMP.
It does seem like the only answer to a Rubik’s cube-level dilemma.
If other Freepers have more technical insight into the feasibility of this, I’d love to hear it, as I am truly heartsick over Israel’s dilemma (much of it, of course, its own fault).
If Bibi goes on and attacks Iran then Oil prices will go through the roof and gas could very well be $6 a gallon or worse on election day. That will not be in Obama’s favor at all.
Also Bibi hates Obama and certainly is not going to do anything to throw the election his way.
I don’t believe that Israel attacking before or after the election is anything most of the electorate cares about.
I think most of us are weary of the wars and to the point that if the Middle East wants to annihilate itself please go ahead.
Saw an interview with Danny Danon. He stated with no equivoction rhat Israel HAS the technolology to send ALL of Iran into utter darkness. He even mentioned traffic lights. He said it would leave them in chaos and unable to respond. It would completely shut down Iran’s entire infrastructure including all of their telecommunications which would shut them off from the world. He was very angry and very certain of his words, reiterating that Israel has technology no one has ever seen and would not hesitate to use it.
I also have no doubt that Israel could take out their satellites leaving them blind.
And contrary to what the world thinks, Israel is NOT alone.
Believe me, I hope it’s just an old chestnut. There are no shortage of variables. I still believe Zero has the bully pulpit and the advantage if war breaks out in the ME. He will try to manipulate the situation to his own advantage. God willing, it may blow up in his face.
Nuvista, I'm just curious. Why do you say it is Israel's own fault? What do you mean by this?
