The crowd shots are priceless. Every stereotypical lib - bearded guy with bowtie, feminazis, skinny wimpy guys, professorials, and loads of them looking up at the podium with that adoration only delusion can inspire.
Don’t get me wrong - lots of normal looking folks, too, but definitely a side show going on every few seats.

I noticed the sound level on FOX as well. I watched the RNC pretty much completely on CSPAN so I wouldn’t have to worry about commercials or talking heads. But I’m not really that interested in watching the DNC so I have it on FOX. I think the Dems gave FOX a crappy location so the sound creeps in more. I’m glad to see they apparently have adjusted the background sound for Shep. It was really too loud and annoying for Bret.

Interesting how gas was a factor during Carter’s administration (odd/even license plates...hours and hours in line...anyone remember that?) and gas is an issue now (Labor Day cost of gasoline highest ever). Same with other issues...Iran, energy...scary. I thought we got rid of all of that in 1980.
