Between conservatives focusing all their attention on the successes/failures of the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla., and the left having a meltdown over the supposed racism and unprecedented disrespect of Clint Eastwoods Empty Chair routine, little attention has been given to an executive order issued last Thursday by President Barack Obama that targets industrial efficiency and carbon emissions.
Today, we are taking another step to strengthen American manufacturing by boosting energy efficiency for businesses across the nation, said President Obama.
This action will cut costs, increase efficiency, and help our businesses create strong, middle class jobs. Well continue to do everything we can to put more people back to work and build an economy that lasts, he added.

OH.... I just love these satire pieces.
So “boosting energy efficiency” (code word new EPA regulations) is going to create jobs for middle Americans? I don’t think so, unless the EPA will be hiring investigators...
What a lying POS.
The sabotage of America with a cherry on top.
Lies built on lies built on still more lies. The lowest level lie is that the climate is changing catastrophically (or unnaturally). The next lie up is that by lowing our “Carbon footprint” we will make a nonzero difference in climate. That builds into the lie that cogeneration lowers the footprint by a significant amount (all exaggerations). Then the lie that cogeneration saves or creates jobs. If that were the case businesses would do it without an executive order. There’s the lie that he cares about American jobs and the lie that he wants to keep America as we know it. I probably left out a few, but you get the picture.
the enemy is on a golf course somewhere or riding around on AF1 campaigning to entitlement whores
Obama is still trying to be the Wizard of Oz.
If the ROI on CHP is self-evident, there is no need for any government program for a business to implement it, in the cours of their capital investment process and at a time in that process when it makes sense.
Simply fulfilling an artificial political deadline proves to never make economic sesnse.
Today we are taking another step to cripple American manufacturing.......in the name of AGW pseudoscience bull$hit.
Mitt is going to have a busy “first day” with terminating Obamacare and cancelling every single Executive Order NObama has ever issued.
Obama is on our side. Jimmy Carter says so.
What makes you believe that he will?
The only green is the cash that we are throwing at these companies.
GE wins both ways, worthless wind generators, (everyone get warm and fuzzy) and when then sell their fast start CT’s to back up the wind when it does not blow.
Anyone who wants to argue that point bring it.
I am at ground zero with wind generation.
I tried to tell y'all !
What makes you doubt?
Mitt Romney has not said that he will "terminate" Obamacare. Instead, he said that he will repeal and replace it. He's not actually promising to repeal it on day one - he plans on issuing waivers against laws still on the books. Later, his administration would propose that the federal government subsidize state-run healthcare via block grants, using (former) Medicaid monies. In other words no rollback of taxes, no rollback of government control, just a shifting of responsibilities to get a better bang for the healthcare buck, while we still pay taxes to cover it.
Also, he did not say that he would "cancel every single Executive Order Obama has ever issued". Romney adviser Ed Gillespie has said that Mitt would review all Executive Orders, but only repeal some. No one has made any commitments as to which ones get repealed.
I hope he gets the chance to wear out a whole box full of pens.
What I wrote was what I said. I did not say Romney said it.
