If you're following the electoral college predictions on this site, you'd see that all of the major analysts say Obama will win in November.
But one model by the University of Colorado (released in late August) projects Romney to win in a landslide so I wanted to share that here for your review.
From Colorado.edu news release:
The key is the economy, say political science professors Kenneth Bickers of CU-Boulder and Michael Berry of CU Denver. Their prediction model stresses economic data from the 50 states and the District of Columbia, including both state and national unemployment figures as well as changes in real per capita income, among other factors.
According to their analysis, ... Romney will win 52.9 percent of the popular vote to Obamas 47.1 percent...
From theDC:
Romney, it concluded, will win every state currently considered by pollsters to be a swing state, including Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Florida, Virginia, Colorado, New Hampshire and North Carolina.
The model even predicts Romney will win Minnesota and Maines Second Congressional District, the electoral votes of which most pollsters consider to be safe for President Obama. Nevada and Iowa are the only swing states it assigns to Obama.

assuming the title is suppose to be 300EV?
CORRECTION ON HEADLINE: SHOULD BE Romney 320 EV’s /0BAMA 218 EV’s
Sorry, 320 EV’s
Off topic: The D&C is apparently having a women’s big behind competition live now on fox. There is one apparent winner.
D&C.....LOL!......
The loons are really coming out on Facebook and other pages. They’re getting convulsive. “FU*K REPUBLICANS” and suchlike.
Um, excuse me sportutegrl. Whether you're a woman or not, I don't think that the Republican party needs to stoop so low as to make misogynistic comments about women's backsides just because we don't see eye-to-eye with them ideologica---
... (*looks at DNC stage streaming broadcast*)
DAAAAMN THEM'S SOME BIG OLD ASSES UP IN THERE!
I’m not fan of Romney’s one bit, but I will take this outcome. 0bama and his Marxist thugs HAVE to go back to Chicago....Unlike the past few months, I am starting to feel okay about our chances of deposing of the Marxist.
I would make a few changes to this prediction:
I think Romney will win Iowa.
I don’t see Romney winning in PA or MN.
MI is up for grabs. I think Romney has a decent shot at taking MI, it seems to be trending Republican since 2010 and all the union people have left Detroit.
But in the end it will come down to OH where I think Romney pulls off a close win.
My prediction is (without MI) Romney 295 EV’s to 0bama 243 EV’s or (with MI) Romney 311 EV’s 0bama 227 EV’s.
The dims are hoping for revolution if Romney wins fair and square. The blathering MSM is conditioning the public to a “projected” obummer win so any other results must be from cheating.
Made me laugh really really hard
Obamugabe deserves three electoral votes. all from d.c. the rest of the nation has been harmed under his regime.
Did it predict the last 8 winners in August? Or later in the campaign season?
it is a brand new model they took data from previous years and put it in the model and predicted the winner (which they new) then used that model for this year. its easy to set up a model to pick winners of previous elections after the fact.
I wouldn’t bet on Iowa and Nevada going to Obama.
Interesting that they mentioned Maine’s Second Congressional District going to Romney. I live in this district. Maine, like Nebraska, splits it’s Electoral College votes by congressional district. If Obama wins southern Maine, the First Congressional District, he gets one electoral vote. If Romney wins the Second district, he, Romney, would get one electoral vote. The statewide winner of the popular vote would get the other two electoral votes. Maine only has four electoral votes.
I posted the other day how I had seen a dozen Romney lawn signs on a 10 mile stretch of a two-lane state road connecting two or three Maine coastal towns (in the second district). As of yesterday, those dozen Romney lawn signs are now twenty-five Romney lawn signs.....there are also three Obama / Biden lawn signs on this stretch of road.
The Romney signs must have been printed before August 11th, because they have Romney’s name but no mention of Paul Ryan.
