You statement is amazing and speaks volume. This book shows how bad 0bama is and all you can do is focus on Boehner.

The fact that this is bad for Obama was already a given by the title of this article.

However, I was attempting to correct the statement that "Boehner has a spine, who knew?"

The real fact of the matter is that they both need to go....and I think that the timing of this book will help remove both of them.

Any book from a leftist icon like Woodward coming out with negative stories on Obama helps Romney. Obama couldn’t shift to the center like Clinton did and work with Republicans.

Boehner was willing to discuss $800 million in “new revenue” (taxes) if the spending cuts were kept. Obama changed the deal midstream to 1.2 billion and Boehner walked away. Never got back to Obama and Obama was pissed.

Most amusing story though was Pelosi and other Dems were getting down to dealing with the numbers and Obama called. She put him on speaker phone and he started giving a speech. She out him on Mute so he could babble in the background while they got down to real business.

Your right Perdogg - the book speaks of Obama's character flaws that influence policy in a bad way. There's no reason to focus on Boehner - but I've seen the same type comment on other threads.. odd.

I'm starting to feel Woodward’s a force to be reckoned with .. The real deal - a liberal intellectual. Aren't many of 'em left anymore.

Much of the press acts like they're intellectuals - but they 'coincidentally' come up with the same lines at the same time. A group-think. And attitude - heavy on 'style' ... A group-think that's transparent.

Are the real thinkers behind their words working at dem PR Firms - like the one James Carville runs? Is the press being fed?

The food chain: dem PR firm to the New York Times to newspapers to TV pretty heads? Eight people in the United States doing the thinking on that side? Not even empty suits anymore - empty minds.
