Scarborough for POTUS? (Comic relief alert)
The Corner at NRO ^ | September 11, 2012 | Daniel Foster

anity Fair reports, “no joke”, that Morning Joe co-host Joe Scarborough is planning to test the waters for a 2016 presidential run.

After the presidential inauguration in January, Joe (no fan of Mitt Romney’s—”I’ve been very critical”) plans on publishing a memoir that will serve—no joke—as a vehicle to test the waters for a presidential run in 2016. Take that, Mr. Romney.

I’d be curious how exactly Scarborough would position himself. He’s a born-again moderate, the kind of nominal Republican that liberals find it fashionable to include as “one of the good ones.” But as a member of the House GOP class of 1994, he was a reliable conservative with strong marks from the ACU and ATR...

I remember when Morning Schmo first aired, Schmo said he was one of the few members of Congress to actually go view the sealed evidence of the Clintons’ crimes during the impeachment. Said he was shocked. One year later he is apologizing to Hillary for “being so mean” to her and calling her his girlfriend.

Either complete RINO indoctrination or the guy really had no principles to begin with.

Never forget Lori Klausutis:

Lori Klausutis, a 28-year-old office worker for Rep. Joe Scarborough (R-Fl), was found dead in the congressman's district office.

Scarborough has a nasty, mean streak and I wouldn’t trust him for a minute.

I remember when he started showing up as a guest on Imus in the Morning- a thousand years ago- and though he was very bright and sharp he did not get conservatives- even when he WAS one (per his voting record).

He’s spent so many years now surrounded by liberals, lefists and the media that he’s lost sight of any principles he MAY have had.

I would advise you not to be alone in an office with him after hours.

True. See the whole "You think she works the pole?" controversy in the last election.

This just in: Scarborough: 'I have no plans to run in 2016'

Remember that old saying, "Two things that will end a political career: a live boy or a dead woman."

Mornin' Joe got hisself a dead woman.

He should run with Steve Tyler. Their campaign motto could be: “Mr. Magoo and Tyler, too!”

His new best friends the Clinton’s, knowing that Joe’s principles are always for sale for the right price, probably promised to pay him a princely sum to run a as 3rd party candidate to insure a Hillary victory in 2016.
