It is a big mistake to have local people provide the security for our Embassies. It varies from country to country, but in too many of these Muslim hell holes we rely on locals for more than the first line of security. The Marines are there mainly to protect the core and the communications devices. If a country refuses to allow us to have our own security forces..then we shouldn’t be there.

I believe that most of the intergovernmental agreement is that the host nation provides external security for our embassies and the USMC provides the internal.

This probably needs to change. We should close our embassies in certain countries. I look for Romney to do this.
