I’m no Romney fan ... and will hold my nose when I vote for him BUT he did look VERY Presidential today. I hope that it reflects the real Mitt and that it is not just an act .... I can only hope.

I think much of Mitt’s previous backgound and decisions were more due to the practical aspects of being Goveror of Massachusetts rather than his own beliefs. I suspect that we will all be surprised when he gets into the Oval Orifice.

Did you see the earlier article when a lesbain said she asked Romeny what she should tell her 8 year old who wants to know why her 2 mothers couldn’t marry?
Romneys response “I don’t care what you tell her. Whatever you’ve been telling her for the past 8 years.”

He sounded more natural than usual, and seemed to be speaking from the heart, while responding logically and firmly to questions. Seemed like a glimpse of the real Mitt, rather than the cautious, stage-managed version we're more accustomed to seeing.

I must admit that Romney looked great today—like a leader, like a statesman, like a President.
