Oversampled Dems to make The White House happy?
Only an 8 point gap between Gallup and Rasmussen. Just another day in paradise.
Boy, threaten a polling company with indictment and they start singing from a whole new hymnal.
Post lawsuit bump
7 day rolling average. Today’s results still include last Friday.
I didn't see the internals at the site, either.
Welcome to the Twilight Zone..
Keep floating our way Gallup
They are full Panic for Obama
Gallup and Rasmussen diverge periodically. Gallup is still looking at registered voters and still absorbing the fallback from Obama’s post convention bounce (they average over seven days vs. rassmussen’s three days). The important point is that Gallup is heading back towards Rasmussen.
Gallup has lost all crediability.
Yep. HUGE gap between the two. One of them is completely wrong. Which one was pressured by administration officials again?
I think Gallup is using Zogby’s special sauce.
Registered voters may think they are until they get to the polls and find out that the voter fraud laws in some states have kicked in and illegals, felons, and those voting in multiple states have become “unregistered.”
And yes, the GOP should be proud to suppress the votes of illegal voters in the finest tradition of defending the sacredness of the ballot.
Make ‘em really happy Gallup: O -98, R-2
They really have you hook, line, and sinker with these manipulated polls. This is on the same mental level as “reality TV”.
Bread and Circuses.
That has to be fake. There is NO WAY that is real.
Jeez, Axleshaft must really have gotten their attention.
Click the source link at the top of the page .. scout’s honor !
registered voters, not likely voters
OMG!!! You have got to be shitting me!! Sounds like Pravda for crying out loud! Headlines are: Soviets Economy Booms! Soviets Cure all Disease! Fearless Leader is up 10 points!
Gallup uses a 7-day moving average, Rasmussen uses 3 days. The Gallup number still includes a lot of the post-convention bounce as well as the weekend that undercounts conservatives, libertarians and Republicans. Patience.
Just a thought -
perhaps after being bullied by Axelrod et al,
Gallup is making it blatantly obvious that they have indeed been bullied as some sort of passive resistance.
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows Mitt Romney attracting support from 48% of voters nationwide, while President Obama earns 45% of the vote.
That confirms what I was thinking...
those headlines are so over-the-top biased that they are saying
“we can’t do honest polling or else the 0bama admin will come down on us”
Rasmussen had R up by 3 today among likely voters. His important swing state results are all with 2 points.
Obama is still at least 2-3 points too high in Rassmussen polling, he will not get above 42-43% of the popular vote on election day AT BEST.
“Boy, threaten a polling company with indictment and they start singing from a whole new hymnal.”
And yet, none dare call it FASCISM....
I had that thought too, but backed off it thinking a publicly held company (?) would be violating fiduciary laws by purposely destroying its own credibility ?
Those headlines are like public fellatio, but worse, if that's possible !
It would be interesting if the SEC would investigate a complaint on Gallup’s fiduciary negligence
and Gallup brought to court the evidence of the intimidation by the government.
Gallup under lawsuit from the Feds...all results are “no confidence”.
That certainly explains the polling. They’re “in the tank” for Obama.
Fed/state/local combine have over 10,000 regs which they can hang you with. Take NYT for example. They sell stock shares and they overstated their newspaper circulation by 100 percent on their perspective. Technically GWB could have investigated and charged the CEO of the NYT with fraud and SEC violations. It was never done. If you are part of the establishment inner circle, lots of laws are not enforced if you screw up. However this can also backfire. If you are part of the protected elite you will continue to break laws until some SOB politician decides to rein you in. I think that is what happen to Gallup. Keep pissing Obama off, he will unleash the fed gov on you and Gallup being one of the protected establishment may have scores of serious violations that can be uncovered. Their management knows that thus kowtows.
I like how all the ‘good news’ is in Soylent Green.
If that’s true- this country is already too far gone.
Voter fraud edge.
