It is hard to believe that I could get the suave, sophisticated Roger Moore confused with the big fat slob, Michael Moore but I managed to do it.
I meant to say that the tendency on the left to legislate subjective hurt feelings can cut both ways. This tendency is especially apparent in efforts by the left to enshrine black hyper-sensitivities, witness the flap over use of the word "niggardly."
Michael Moore's rise in the documentary business began with his movie Roger and Me, about his many attempts to ambush GM CEO Roger Smith into an interview so Moore could edit out reasonable answers and play only those that made Smith look like a corporatist anti-Ameircan, anti-Uniion hack.
So it's not unreasonable to come up with Roger Moore, when thinking on the whole thing. All apologies to that suave British actor, of course...
