Even though I agree on what you say, the vote in the house would have been purely symbolic...the senate would have just continued to be a “do-nothing” body through the elections.

i guess you “duntno” that the house has sole the power of the purse strings. all funding must originate in the house. boehner and cronies could have defunded obamacare anytime during this congress alone without the senate.

that failure (boehner and co) ended the people’s first attempt to stop obamacare. the second was ended by robert’s abdication of legislative review. as of now, because of both dems and repubs, obamacare is a fact. and that fact, if it stands, is the likely deathknell of the republic.
