n a refreshing sea change in tabloid culture, former child star Amanda Bynes has replaced Lindsay Lohan as Hollywood's resident "troubled starlet" following a DUI arrest, the suspension of her license, and a bunch of photos of her hitting a pipe from the driver's seat of her BMW. The similarities between the two stars haven't gone unnoticed by the media, nor by Lohan.
One might think Lohan would empathize with Bynes, but instead, she's railing against what she sees as unfair treatment.
"Why did I get put in jail and a nickelodeon star has had NO punishment(s) so far?" Lohan tweeted on Sunday.
Lohan, who served a grand total of 84 minutes in jail in 2007 after she pleaded guilty to DUI, then made some weird statement about being happy she was a Disney kid: "These are the moments that I appreciate my life experiences, living without regrets and Disney for supporting me as an actress-night all."

I can’t say I entirely blame her. Amanda is a mess right now.

I never thought I'd say this, but I agree with Lindsey Lohan. Why Bynes didn't get the same treatment is beyond me. It just took longer for the former Nickelodeon star to mess up her life compared to the former Disney star.

It’s actually not the same situation at all. Lindsay was busted for 2 DUIs in 3 months, pled guilty to both at the same time, and then served her 84 minutes.

Isn’t it time for her to just STF up and go visit some monastery in Tibet for like two years and eat nothing but pollywogs?
Maybe if we’re impossibly lucky, she’ll take that Progressive broad with her...

To: Cementjungle
Actually, that’s “life in bars” rather than “life behind bars”.
