Last Sat the local Broward Co Romney office sent to knock on doors in one of the worst neighborhoods. There is no way on earth that I would have gone there on my own and I seriously considered calling a cab to abandon the effort. But since there were three of us (a driver and two door to door people), I pasted a smile on my face and went forward.

The most amazing thing happened, there were lots of Romney supporters. Some were welcoming, some just gave us nodding support...not wanting their neighbors to know how they leaned. And then there was one man who made the whole day worth all of the sweat and hard work. He was a recent naturalized citizen who trusted us to look at his new voter card to make sure it was right. He was so happy to see our Romney name tags and told us how he had lived communism and would never vote for it.

So yes, I think if we all keep working hard and encouraging each other, we can do this (like Paul Ryan says...and btw where the heck has he been?). So if you have not been out there to work a precinct, please consider it. If phones are more your deal, you can even do it on line. But please so something.

I just heard a snippet of a speech from today with him mauling Obama for the redistribution quote. The crowd was into it and started booing, it was really cool.
In addition, Romney was on fire today! I’ve never seen him look more determined then he does now and couldn’t have come at a better time.
