Can someone explain why internal polling might be more accurate, and why the “external” polling orgs don’t use those same methodologies (aside from the bias of news organizations)?

The answer to your question is simple. The internal polls that both campaigns use are accurate. They know what the numbers REALLY are. Now ask yourself: Why isn’t the lame-stream media using the same methodology? Because then it would reflect how Obama is not really in the lead. That’s not what the lame-stream wants. They want to produce poll after poll that shows Obama leading so people will start to believe it, and republicans will become down-hearted. The only way they can produce polls that show Obama ahead is to over-sample Dems at 2008 levels.

That’s simple to answer. Most polls done for public consumption are done by the Marxist/Obammunist Media, and their purpose isn’t to accurately reflect the truth (just like everything else they do), but instead is to try to influence weak-minded and ill-informed voters that everyone else is voting for Obama so there must be something wrong with them if they aren’t doing what the rest of the herd is doing.
