I’ve always felt a little sorry for Monica. My young and gorgeous sister met Bill and Al at an event (she has a photo of them both leering at her) and she said that Bill emanated an incredible warmth. She almost gave him her card. Thankfully she did not.
I’m sure Bill poured on the charm and that along with the power of his position made Monica think this was the biggest romance of the decades. Bitter truth was that they - especially the inhuman power monger Hillary, were prepared to completely destroy Monica and except for the blue dress the whole world would have written her off as delusional.
The story said that the whole mess caused her to end a pregnancy. Huge mistake!
Except for the blue dress, Monica would be dead. Think Mary Mahoney....

He came on to my niece at an awards ceremony when she was in HIGH SCHOOL. (HIGH SCHOOL, folks!) And, I ASHAMED to say that I VOTED for this guy. (Yes, i used to be blind as a bat!)
When she approached him on stage to receive the award....she was VERY nervous of what to say. She said, “Oh, my goodness! You are much taller than you appear on TV.” He said....”Tall enough for you, baby.”
I kid you not.
Her mother was horrified....as all of us were after hearing her tell us this story at our family reunion.
She was so young to be let loose in that den of perverts. I do feel sorry for her. I remember being a stupid young girl myself. When we are young we romanticize our lives and make fools of ourselves. Yep, he did get off scot free and Monica was left with a shattered life. I pray that writing the book will serve to kill all her demons and give her peace.
