Via BuzzFeed, five minutes of fun at the start of tonight’s debate. I agree with William Jacobson: In some ways, this is a tough subject for Brown to broach. To make the case effectively he's got to get into details about the debunked genealogy, her dubious explanations for identifying as Native American, and her insistence on doing so professionally at Harvard even though she didn’t meet the professional guidelines for it. That's hard or impossible to do in a 60-second opening statement; as it is, his argument that she's lying amounts to "c'mon, she obviously doesn't look Native American," which is both true and not dispositive. I think he ended up fine by turning it into a “release the documents” attack, which puts her on the defensive, but I wonder what would have happened if she had gotten ostentatiously indignant. It’s always dangerous for a male candidate to attack a woman opponent personally; if she had turned this into a sustained “you’re impugning my family!” lament, the optics could have been bad.
But she doesn’t. She’s actually pretty sanguine about the whole thing. Not sure if that’s proof that she’s a bit more dignified than an average politician, who’d be eager to seize an opportunity to play the victim, or if she’s still too green to detect an opportunity like that when one’s in front of her. But I’m curious to see if either of them revisits this topic at the next debate.
He’s pro-choice. I’m not a one issue voter so it doesn’t matter to me. I will vote for Brown and I have his sign in my yard. I simply regard abortion as murder after the first semester.

Her real weakness is when she doubled down and got into more communist detail on how “you didn’t build it”, than Obama did.
As much as I hate it,having a pro-choice MA Republican Senator is better than having a pro-choice MA Democrat Senator if it means Republicans can control the Senate.

Semi-understand your defense. He made some big boners, too—siding with the other “GOP” New England senators. Of course I’d vote for him if I had the unmitigated misfortune of living in Mass., but I really think I’d rather move.
I would never put somebody’s sign in my yard if he were pro=murder. Do you mean Brown is pro-murder in his rhetoric? Cuz what action has he taken that is pro-murder? The pro-murder Senators all voted YES on Kagan.
The really pro-murder voters in MASS are voting for Lizzy cuz they figured out Scott’s not really with them.

the majority of voters in MASS are loony lefties. They don’t deserve Scott Brown. So it is a benefit to the rest of us that they aren’t going to elect Lizzy Warren who is closer to their views.
Brown got elected as number 41, to stop the lefty agenda in Congress. He never once broke that promise. The only times he did not vote with the conservatives, the DEMS already had their 60 votes for cloture. We can thank Snowe and Collins for that.
Of course, it would be exciting if Scottie were a Jesse Helms conservative! He could go down swinging in this election, go out with a real blaze of glory.
He seems to have prudently decided not to die on any hill that is symbolic. Silly Scottie! Six years from now he will have a long voting record for the libs to excoriate him on .... doubt he will survive past ‘18.

I don’t think MCFL endorsed Brown but I can check.
In retaliation, the Warren campaign will put up billboards showing Brown in his Playgirl spread.
and then Brown will get the entire female vote.
