1. He was 33 years old when he led a group of owners who bought the Pirates? WHAT? Who is zooming who, here? If anyone is a Pittsburgh fan, I’d appreciate the honest story. What 33 year old in the world LEADS a group of buyers of a multi-million dollar company that’s NOT computer related? No one. So as far as I’m concerned - until educated otherwise - unless his last name is Kennedy or Bush - his purchase “leadership” is a lie.
2. Just to help him clear things up - everyone knew he was gay. All the guys who think that no one knows they’re gay, are fooling only themselves. People know. But since most straight people don’t define their identity by who they’re having sex with,they don’t make it an issue when they do business with one another.
3. If indeed he was the “face” of the Pittsburgh Pirates for all those years, let me tell him something to his face: you did a lousy, lousy job. Not bad. Lousy. I don’t want to hear anything about small market teams: during the period of time you were brooding about your sexuality like some gay Hamlet, your team STUNK. Tampa Bay is small market. Oakland is small market. Cincinnati is small market. Minnesota is small market. Milwaukee is small market. You know what they all have in common? From time to time, they had winning/championship teams. I just wanted you to know that I am not defining you by your sexuality; I’m defining you by your performance. You stunk.
It will surprise no one that Frank Bruni is an out of the closet buttwhacker.
Rumor has it that he wants to lead a group to buy and NFL team, but they can’t figure out if they’d prefer the Packers or the Browns.
