It would be in the constitution of individual states. Here in Georgia, the state constitution, Article II. Section I. Paragraph I., states: "Method of voting. Elections by the people shall be by secret ballot and shall be conducted in accordance with procedures provided by law."

It seems I've woken up in an alternate universe again. I fail to see the rational.

Why are the voting booths private? Why not just sit around a big table wearing name badges and vote with cameras over our shoulders recording our every move?

Would that disenfranchise voters? Would minorities who don't want to show a picture ID be more willing to vote thanks to her ruling?

Bush's fault?

A Federal judge wouldn’t have jurisdiction in that case.
