George Bush said it, but Islam actually means “submit.”
He was trying to be a “nice guy” and “politically correct” to make it seem were not at war with Islam.
But we ARE at war with Islam. They declared it on us.
The Islamic definition of peace is to submit to the will of Allah or be killed.
So to say “Islam is a religion of peace” as GWB said, is a big giant steaming load of crap.
It apparently lost something in the translation that Bush wasn’t aware of. Perhaps instead of Islam being a religion of peace, it really meant that Islam is a religion of pieces. Especially after their standard routine of suicide bombing. Somebody should have told him.
From now on, anyone that is either that stupid or that deliberately obtuse should be automatically disqualified for the highest office in the land. That’s a start.
