"Our fellow FReepers would be far more effective if they learned the truth and used it to teach rather than attack."

I totally agree. I don't know if it's just that I'm ambivalent this election so I notice it more, or that other freepers are also ambivalent so only the extremists are posting. But it seems to me that the number of knee jerk responses, quoting opponents out of context, and blatant partisanship regardless of facts is way up these days.

We aren’t paying for phone booths anymore, just the modern version. The phone booths that were once so common seldom paid for themselves. They were funded largely by our personal phone bills.

I don't want to live or associate with these people any more. I've about had it with their victimology, racism, laziness, drug addled ways, and in-your-face you-owe-it-to-us bullshit.

These wretches are nothing but worthless moochers. Morons. Slugs. Most of them aren't worth a pitcher of warm spit. They have failed being worthy of any self-government and personal responsibility.

It's time for a divorce. Let them have their failed cities and live in their own versions of Liberia, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Darfur, Egypt, whatever. But let them do it on their own and be run and oppressed by their own crooked politicians and nasty dictators. Let them fill their own dungeons with each other. It's fine with me. Just let the rest of us go our decent and American way. If not, we are headed for a serious and violent breakup.

I would rather do it now before there is an American collpse and genocide.

I just want a better America and have little tolerance for looking the other way till its convenient.

Don’t want to run up the count, it’s that I assume something appearing as a Drudge Report top headline gets more than 317 views.

The views/comments are comming so fast that I think the YouTube counters have stopped counting due to overload. When that happens, it would take too much bandwidth to constantly renew the counter, so they wait and do it in batches- sometimes 6 hours or more later. I have observed that on YouTube videos before and it's a general sign that the video has gone viral, especially when the comments are racking up quite quickly, which they are. Not only is that video is linked to Drudge; Rush and Bortz are talking about it, too.

Someone said that it should be made into a Romney ad; but he won't even need to, it's going to be viewed by millions before the week is out.

This is what happens when you play Musical Fathers.

“Obama gonna give us everything. Them ole Republicans wouldn’t let him but now he’s gonna bust open his stash and make it rain for the people”.

This is the legacy of FDR, LBJ, Carter and Clinton, JFK too, unionizing public workers.

Obama may win because of people like this.

Pray for our Nation.

O.M.G. You HAVE to see this video:

Obama Voter Says Vote for Obama because he gives a free Phone

As of 12 noon ET, this was the lead story on Drudge (still is, as of 1:23pm ET), and Rush led off his show with the outrageous audio of this barking moonbat. He's talking about it again now...

Send this YouTube video to everyone on your e-mail lists... here is your classic Obama voter!

Someone needs to vote that woman a kick in the ass to go get a job. If she can run around doing that she can push a broom or even teach Communications English in some inner-city school as a union teacher.

There’s actually a good reason (looking for the explanation video now).
YouTube’s infrastructure, involving servers scattered all over the world, actually makes it hard to count the correct number of views. Views are counted one way until they hit 317, at which point the system notices “hey, this is getting popular, we need to shift how it’s being delivered” and the counter you see stalls there for a while.

I understand who they voted for, and why.

I am saying this woman is a result of the Democratic Plantation and dependency. The odd part is that she is not alone and many, many people think they are victims and deserve a living courtesy of Obama.

I voted for Palin, not McAmnesty last time...

But I get the impression that you would deny the poor even a one-time subsidy of $9.95. Nice. /s

That really makes me sick! You are either stupid or intentionally trying to mislead people here. Since it is fairly obvious that you were too lazy to actually read the link that you provided to FactCheck.org. I will quote a couple relevant parts for you:

“a monthly subsidy of $9.25 for each low-income customer”

“Lifeline’s costs doubled in five years to $1.75 billion in 2011”

“tens of millions of dollars have been lost to fraud”

“9 percent of Lifeline users in 17 states and territories were ineligible for the program”

“400,000 instances of one person — or one household — having more than one subsidized connection”

“phones were sold for cash on Craigslist”

And this is all from factcheck.org which is “a project of the Annenberg Public Policy Center”. Everyone knows that it is just a coincidence Obama, and Bill Ayers served on Annenberg boards together.

DannyTN there are cheap affordable cell phone options available to “poor” people. This is simply another example of the government picking winners and losers in what should be the private competitive marketplace.

Since you have sarcastically cast dispersions on me... I compassionately serve “poor” people every day that I go to work. I have been recognized for my service from multiple organizations. My wife and I have taken birthday cake to "poor" people who didn't have relatives in the area after I had them transported. We have even let "poor" people that I met on the job stay in our home while I tried to find them a place to stay. I have fixed cars for "poor" people. My crew and I have bought new car batteries for "poor" people. We see "poor" people where they live and can tell the scam artists from the people really in need, and we use our own resources to help those who we can. Be careful who you lecture me you self-righteous fool.
