The MSM polls may be skewed, but Romney's own campaign polls are apparently showing the same thing. If you watched his interview with ABC today, you will see the anxiety in his eyes, and he did not challenge the polling numbers as strongly as I would have hoped. In fact, he conceded ABC News' point about the polls showing some tough terrain for him.

So lets not fool ourselves by holding our hands on our ears and looking at some website (unskewedpolls.com) that no reputable pollster has endorsed.

While I would agree with you about ‘holding our hands on our ears’, in general, it is also important to realize that the polls are anything but consistent, and there has been great splay from polls from different organizations, and from the same organizations day to day. I don’t think anyone has a good handle on what’s happening out there at this point. Unfortunately, I’m also not sure what a ‘reputable’ pollster actually is anymore.

Regarding Romney not challenging the poll numbers as strongly as you would have hoped, my general impression is that Romney never does anything publicly with strong passion. That’s his personality.

It also would benefit all of us to remember that we haven’t even had a debate yet.
