Obama 47% - Romney 46%. When "leaners" are included, Obama 48% - Romney 48%.

So its a tie, yet the media wants to go with this lie that Romney is losing..Obama STILL can’t get to the 50 percent mark so that is good news for Romney. He just has to knock it out of the park and have a great debate
Poll Ping.
51% Trust Romney More on Economy, 44% Trust Obama More
Swing State Daily Tracking: 51% Disapprove of Job Obama is Doing
43% Expect Better Economy if Romney Wins; 34% Say Same of Obama
36% Say U.S. Heading in Right Direction
Only 41% Expect U.S. Economy To Be Stronger In Five Years
And yet, we're supposed to believe the liberal pollsters that it's going to be a blowout for Obama? What psychedelic drugs are these idiots doing?
Exactly and your right..it doesn’t make any sense..how can someone say the economy sucks, Obama stinks on foreign policy and then say “Well you know what, all those things are true but Im going to vote for Obama anyway” its NOT possible. If someone works at your business and is constantly screwing up and costing you money, you don’t give them another chance to screw things up again, you fire them
There are a couple who have mirrored Rasmussen or even given Romney favor that Rasmussen doesn’t show.
Guess this just isn’t going to break either way until the debates begin, with Rasmussen.
Think I’ll have to follow the debate on FR. Don’t think I can stand to view the thing on live TV and handle the anxiety simultaneously.
Always better to follow on here as we get to hear/make some honest comments
Boy, are they DESPERATE.
There is something seriously wrong in the polls. Look at the internals. People are saying they agree with Romney but are voting for Obama?
That makes no sense
I won’t watch the debates either. I know who I’m voting against & they just stress me out.
People are often ignorant and stupid.
What ever you do do not watch the Mass Media.
Every Presidential Debate since the 1988 has been scripted exactly the same way.
The GOP blew it, the Democrat mopped up the floor with him. Then they will rush out OVER NIGHT polls (as if anyone is going to be answering the phone at 1am to answer polling questions) showing that everyone agrees with this Pro Democrat spin.
The stories about the debate are written. Do not listen to them. Watch the debates for yourselves. What you think about them will be much closer to how voters react to them then anything the media tells you to think.
I am very dubious of the polls...but trying to make sense of them, maybe its an indication that the slanderous cartoon image of Romney as a robber barren still has some traction among some people. Recently I have been talking a lot to my niece, who "dislikes both of them"...and can give many reasons she dislikes Obama, but really isn't sure what she dislikes about Romney excepting that she presumes he is probably just like all the rest of the politicians.
I agree, its NOT possible..now if someone thought the country was going in the right direction or if these polls were reversed than obviously the trend would be going towards Obama..but someone saying the economy is terrible, blaming Obama’s policies for it, saying he is terrible when it comes to foreign policy and saying that things are NOT better than they were 4 years ago, coming to that conclusion and voting for Obama anyway, its NOT possible because these polls showing Obama leading are absolute BUNK
I suppose it would be ... if we elected presidents by national popular vote.
The problem today is that...
1. A good majority of the electorate today is ignorant of what Democrats actually advocate and many of them would most likely not support their policies if they educated themselves and/or actually cared to find out what they were.
2. Some see Obama as a Celebrity and view elections as a popularity contest rather than weighing who or what party can provide the best policy direction and solve the problems that we face. They are a member of the short attention span, American Idol generation seen today. (Note the many Obama appearances with rappers, celebs, late night talk shows and daytime talk shows such as The View above doing something a President should do like addressing a terrorist attack or meeting with a key ally about the survival of their nation).
3. Some are so dependent on government handouts that they will vote Dem no matter what because they will give it to them (even if it conflicts with their core values. If they care enough to find that out, of course).
4. Some are single issue voters and place that sole issue above everything else. (A gay marriage/abortion/free health care advocate may very well know that the economy will most likely tank with 4 more years with Obama at the helm, but will still vote for him because he supports their #1 issue. Another example, a Jewish/Catholic/Evangelical voter that backs a sole liberal position and clearly knows that Israel has been thrown under the bus and knows that they will be most likely be villainized by Obama in his second term, but will vote for him anyways because of their one core issue.)
5. Skin color. (90% of African Americans are projected to vote for Obama even though many of them are Christians. They turn a blind eye to moral issues such as gay marriage, abortion, coveting/stealing from others through class warfare, not supporting Israel, removal of God from the DNC and having a President that will say not one word about the endless criticism or vile insults on Christianity from the left, but will instead call out criticism directed at their prophet who, revealed by non-politically correct/true history, was akin to Genghis Khan in viciousness, murder and intolerance of others.)
6. Other factors include union thuggery, overly and overtly biased MSM influence and the current educational system’s political correctness/revisionist history. All of those advocating a concentrated message that Socialism/Communism is good historically and for today, Capitalism/Conservatism is for the rich, inherently racist in nature and abhorrent for mankind.
Three quotes to remember that sums up America today...
“The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter.” - Winston Churchill
“When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic.” Benjamin Franklin
“We can’t expect the American People to jump from Capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving them small doses of Socialism, until they awaken one day to find that they have Communism.” Nikita Khrushchev
God help us all...
good post, CavScout. thanks...
We have to watch the debates where they play. So long as Republicans agree to debate in a snake pit I can’t watch until the thread indicates I can peek. I like to have it in for viewing, but with no volume. The media debate panel will be desperate to boost Obama and fillet Romney.
