Not bad but I’ve got you beat. The family of Elijah Isaacks, according to the family legend, settled in east Texas in 1822. They received a land grand from the Mexican government One of his sons, not the one I am directly descended from, joined Stephen Austin and got a land grant on the Brazos river. Isaack was my maternal grandmothers ancestor, my maternal grandfathers family was here almost that early (1830) but they didn’t leave as many tracks. I only have family Bible to go by. On my father side they were here very early but I have no proof other than family stories.
