Mass Lawyers Weekly ran a reader poll today regarding the following question:
Should U.S. Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren be investigated for possibly practicing law without a license?
I heard about the poll in an email just after 1:30 p.m. today. I did not publicize the poll because while online polls are not scientific, I also didnt want someone to say that the results were skewed by me publicizing the poll.

Not really, but I do support a state recognizing another state’s license as valid, along the lines of full faith and credit. If a person has no law license in any state at at all, they can’’t practice in any state. If they have a license in any one of the 50 states, let them practice in any of the 50. I know there is an interstate compact like that for driver’s licenses.
Sort of like everybody recognizes a college degree or professional degree and you don’t have to get a degree in every state you want to work in.
This being Massachusetts, any such investigation will be timed to deliver its findings midway through Warren’s first term.
