PHILADELPHIA (CBS) Police are searching for four suspects who were caught on tape beating and robbing a man inside a Northeast Philadelphia supermarket.
The attack happened at about 10 p.m. on September 29th inside the Pathmark on the grounds of the Franklin Mills Mall.
The stores surveillance cameras captured the suspects park in the stores front lot and enter the store.
While inside the store, the suspects approached the 47-year-old victim, who was looking at items inside a freezer. At first, the suspects engaged in a verbal confrontation with the victim.
The altercation then escalated into a physical attack, during which the victim was punched, kicked and struck with a glass bottle.
One of the suspects then took the victims money clip, which contained $100 in cash. The suspects then ran out of the store and drove away in a 4-door hatch back, possibly a Chevrolet Aveo.
The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male, medium complexion, 20-years-old, 58. He was wearing a blue jacket, t-shirt and tan shorts with a baseball hat and had earrings and a nose ring.

I’m picking a nit here, but if Antoine Jones had been collared outside the store, while running down the sidewalk, I think a journalist might report that Antoine was a “suspect” in this attack.
But a videotape of some humans beating another human?? Why are we calling those shapes “suspects”?? I’m pretty damn sure that they’re doing what I see them doing.
Sounds like he may have known his “assailants”.
Could be a debt collection, to pay for some .....DRUGS!
...or Not!
