Earlier this afternoon, Matt Drudge teased a “curious” tape that will drop tonight and cause “controversy” by igniting “accusations of racism — in both directions!”
Drudge also claimed that an unnamed news network was internally debating whether it should air such a bombshell video the night before the first presidential debate.
Eventually, the Drudge Report’s homepage sported the famous animated siren, with a headline revealing the TV network and dubbing the video “Obama’s Other Race Speech”:
During the final segment of Fox News’ The Five, co-host Eric Bolling announced that tonight at 9 p.m. Sean Hannity would air this “bombshell” tape… and the frenzy to figure out what this tape might be raged on.
That was until Drudge updated its teaser headline with the following image:
If we are to believe that this particular screenshot is from the actual video Hannity plans to air tonight, then it turns out that speech that has already existed online since 2007.
BuzzFeed Politics located a video of then-Senator Barack Obama speaking at Hampton University in June 2007 before pastors and ministers, wearing the same exact outfit seen in the Drudge image… and speaking in front of the same background.
However, Drudge eventually added quotes to their tease:
“We don’t need to build more highways out in the suburbs. We should be investing in minority-owned businesses, in our neighborhoods.”
Poor people “need help with basic skills, how to shop, how to show up for work on time, how to wear the right clothes, how to act appropriately in an office.”
“My pastor, the guy who puts up with me, counsels me, listens to my wife complain about me. He’s a friend and a great leader. Not just in Chicago, but all across the country.”…
And these specific quotes are not found within the 2007 video that BuzzFeed found. However, within several minutes, Drudge also added a tease for the “unscrubbed” video to be released.
So perhaps this is the video Drudge has been teasing, but there is a longer unedited version they believe could be damaging to the Obama presidency?

UPDATE: BuzzFeed found two clips that are not included in the original YouTube video, which is reportedly missing a chunk from the top of Obama’s speech. This extra clip also includes the praise for Rev. Jeremiah Wright that Drudge teased in the above quotations.

I thought the video was actually pretty decent. I can see he has moved away from his speaking with courage from the heart, 8 mentions of God, working miracles. When he became Commander in Chief, something slipped. Now he is in attack mode, and has to use telepromptes. I liked the video, honestly.
Much ado about NOTHING. Hannity and Carlson are zeros if they think this constitutes an October Surprise. No surprise to me. Obama is and has always been a racist.

Q. Is This Obama’s ‘Other Race Speech’ That Drudge And Fox News Are Teasing?
A. Not entirely.
The supposedly web-savvy Obama campaign cannot inoculate itself by releasing (or otherwise pointing to) a benign edit. Bomb’s away!
here is something interesting. I know this isnt the tape in question...but it indicates ABC has the infamous tape.
“The Chicago ABC affiliate has a few tapes, including the Kahlidi Tape that the LA Times won’t release, but ABC has an embargo on running anything from Obama’s past where he’s race-baiting or ranting and raving. It goes against the narrative they want to paint of him being calm, cool, and collected.”

The State run media's narrative (if they even acknowledge it exists) will be something to the effect that this video was reported before and that Fox doctored it.
The usually racism charges will be hurled at Fox and the right and somehow Romney will be blamed for the release of this “fiction” ... will be the mantra from the left.
Again, that is if the “MSM” even decides to acknowledge it.

I haven’t seen the video, but I think it could very well backfire. There isn’t as much passion to vote for Obama in the Black community as there was in 2008. However, airing a video will stir up those who otherwise might have stayed home. Focus in Obama’s the destructive nature of Obama’s policies not his rhetoric. Showing hia racist tendencies isn’t helpful. If I was preparing ads to run in Black communities, I’d juxtapose his promises and his performance (including unemployment stats).
Nothing will stick to Zero. Only if he came out for abortion or gay rights, would there be problems!
