Local news is sports, weather and murders. In the morning, I'm mostly there for the weather. I prefer a pretty weather gal to a frumpy weather gal. It's a pretty simple formula.
And honestly, when it comes to being shallow - it seems to me to be infinitely worse to disqualify her as a date for allegedly being a few pounds overweight then to say “I’m not watching her read the news because of her weight.” I mean, news readers are basically just hairdo’s, and I would hope people expect dates to be a (no pun intended) more well-rounded actual person.
