I've been on this thread too, all the way from a lone hillside in rural upstate New York, on backwoods DSL, and I haven't had delays more than perhaps a minute, usually more like 20-30 seconds, and often less. Under these circumstances, quite acceptable.

It's always easy to blame "the website server" at the other end. But it could be any number of other factors in between, that caused the trouble you experienced.

Romney was like a surgeon with a scalpel. He was crisp, clear and concise with his responses cutting Obama up piece by piece.

Don’t misread what I said. Romney beat Obama viciously and I liked that. Short of Romney falling of the stage and breaking his neck, he gets my vote. Even if he did break his neck Obama would not get my vote.

And they are both still socialists, one fast and one slow.
