90 minutes divided into six segments/topics. Wow—how radical.
Says same format will be in place for final debate in FL with Bob Schieffer.
Intros four other Commission members. John Dnaforth and Alan Simpson are recognized. Antonia Hernandez of Louisiana
and Father John Jenkins of Notre Dame University.
Says hall will be dark. Phones off. 50-100million people at home listening—it is wrong for us to intrude on them—no clapping,no noise.
Just listening to Levin - the past two days he's gone over the decisions Obama is very likely to make if re-elected (no need to repeat for this audience); definitely Armageddon-like with loss of our freedoms and a final transition to a post-constitutional society based on socialism and ascendancy of government as the defining force in our lives.
At the end of this evening's show he did inject a bit of levity by talking about BBQ in Tennessee which reminded me I'm hungry for supper. So in lieu of watching, listening, or even staying with FR and in accordance with keeping my BP (but not calories) low, I'm off to our local BBQ place for ribs, potato salad, beans and beer. Nite all.
