Ann Barnhardt thinks the inner circle, seeing how badly Obama did in the debate, might now think he can serve a higher purpose as a martyr to the cause.

I don’t think the inner circle has the skills or know-how to arrange such. If anything truly epochal happens in the USA it will have to be behind the smokescreen of a major ME war and/or financial collapse.

That's a good point. I recall the 1972 election. The media buzz had these crazies winning it all. In those days w/o modern talk radio and the Internet and when "William F. Buckely's Firing Line one hour a week on PBS 'was all the fairness conservatives needed'" we were the silenced generation; but we showed 'em.

Election 1972 did not work out as McGovern, the campus radicals (spoiled brats IMO), and the liberal media figured. (Darn.. look! Watergate!)
