My Final Radio Broadcast on WABC

Those of you, although few in numbers as far as I’m concerned, who read www.BobGrantOnline.com, please pay attention. I have been doing a one-hour show on WABC, New York, since I ended the regular format. I will end the one-hour show next Sunday. I am not sick, I am just a tired of life member of the chorus. I was not meant to be a spear carrier. I am tired of certain people who, were it not for me, would not be where they are now. I have been the victim of a cruel conspiracy. I know some of you don’t want to hear about my troubles. You are jealous of anyone you think is a celebrity. I can only say it has been a cruel and vicious professional lynching.
But, enough of that. I will miss you as much as you say you miss me. But, there are other things I want to do with the rest of my life. For one thing, I may have time to write the book we have talked about. People wonder why I haven’t written a second book. Well, the answer is simple. I have to write my own books. I could tell you the names of some of the people who wrote books for those big stars. The only person I know of who does write his own books is Mark Levin. Why do publishers hire ghost writers for the others? The answer is simple. These radio stars are on hundreds of stations across the nation. And some of them naturally keep promoting their books. I would do the same if a lynch mob had not seen to it that I never have a national show. But, that is the curse I inherited from someone.
So, I am tired and at my age I can’t start acting like the new kid on the block who has ambition coming out of his pores. I think my pores are too clogged with slings and arrows. Nevertheless, I will stop complaining and thank you for reading this blog. You can read blogs as long as I write them. Right now I am too nervous and depressed. . . nervous about the presidential debate which will take place tonight. And, I am depressed over the fact that outside of the Fox News Network, no national broadcast organization writes about all the scandalous things Barack the Boastful has committed. Why are so many people afraid of him? Is it because his henchmen might call them racists? But then they would have to get together with me. Enough already.

Got Your Attention!

Yesterday I wrote a column that made it appear this was to be my last Sunday on WABC. It was a mistake. It was not my last show. I wanted to get your attention since last week so many of you didn’t know I was only one hour. I got your attention but I upset a lot of people. I have had a lot of practice upsetting people. But, enough about me and that erroneous message.
Let us talk about something really important. I mean, how about the debate last night? There were people who were close to Mitt Romney who said, “Don’t sell Mitt short.” He is bright, he is smart and he demonstrated last night he has the mental capacity to lead this nation. Perhaps just as important, he demonstrated that he can think on his feet. While his opponent, Barack the Boastful, was busy attending golf tournaments and fund-raisers and whatever else a lazy detached head of state does, Romney was practicing for the debate. It was thrilling and encouraging to see this fine decent, dedicated man do what he did last night. Guys like James Carville who, in spite of the fact he is a devout Democrat who would kill for Bill Clinton back in the good old 90s, is honest enough to admit his man, Barack the Boastful, was a big embarrassment.
More on this tomorrow. And, don’t worry about me leaving the radio. . . at least not just yet.

Agreed, but who is he complaining about?
I don't know, but there was a guy who listened to every show and recorded it and tried to get Bob fired.
That's been going on for decades, and I wouldn't be surprised if the same guy was still at it.
Talk radio hosts are always quitting or getting fired, threatening to quit and threatened with being fired.
The same headlines pop up over and over again down through the years.
Are you sure you’ve got the right Bob Grant there?
Could be the Sfachim or maybe the Bathroom Attendant....they both have many powerful and influential friends.

Are you on LSD tonight???? I’ve NEVER read this side of you. I’m 65yo and I’ve been a fan of BG for a long time and he’s been a darn good man. I truley respect you cause you share a screen name close to mine but I believe you’ve made a mistake regarding BG. He would be an excellent president if he wished. My wife and I were in attendance at the Bob Grant roast, where Rush was one of the speakers, and his speech was not a roast but a bouquet of compliments and gratitude to Bob Grant
for Pioneering the talk format.
Rush pointed out that it was Bob Grants high ratings for decades that finally led to Talk stations and obviously
the need for more talk hosts to fill out the schedule.
Bob Grant was a conservative in NYC a place that didn’t have many conservatives. Barry Farber and Bob Grant, that was it.
I live in Vegas and have streamed Bob’s show. Thanks Bob
