Remember, 953,000 households aren’t called, just a fraction of them, therefore the 953,000 is more of an estimate/speculation by BLS bureaucrats based on the sampling of a few. So if someone responded “I raked leaves last week to earn a few extra bucks because I can’t find a steady job” then bang, they’re added to the statistics as being part time employed, and with the assumption that other households are doing the same, magically the 953,000 number appears, just in time for the election. The amount of manipulation by the Obama BLS is likely on a level never seen before.
