Say what you will about Jim Lehrer, he is a professional. A couple of time there, he couldn’t help himself deferring to a sitting liberal President, but for the most part he tried to be fair.

I would be happy with him moderating all three debates. I also thought that Gwen Ifill did a decent job in the 2008 VP debate. That might have been because she was the tiniest bit excited about a female candidate. Tom Brokaw and Bob Schieffer were terrible. Schieffer will again be moderating the final debate this year, and I have no idea why the Republicans keep agreeing to him. Perhaps he has seniority or some such nonsense.

Schieffer has senility not seniority. Poor choice.

On the positive side, most of these morons won't vote this time. The MSM's blatant efforts to portray Obama as the winner by default have already convinced the lumpenproletariat that make up the Democrat base that there's nothing to worry about, so a lot of them won't bother voting, just like in every other election except 2008.

ACORN is out of the election-rigging business and Democrat voter registration is way down. There's no sense of Camelot at the thought of electing the first black president this time.

The mojo ain't working anymore, the level of interest in Obama's campaign is a fraction of what it was in 2008.
